"The room was clean and well equipped. The location was great as well! I loved the small balcony! Unfortunately we had massive issues with the air conditioning that did not work throughout our stay. The remote was not working and the action air conditioning was switching on and off on its own. We were told it’s broken and the remote doesn’t connect. We had to sleep with the balcony door open which obviously caused noise from the road. Additionally, the kettle had EU plug but the sockets in the...

"We had a generally good stay at Barakka Suites, particularly because of the excellent location. The property is conveniently located with easy access to the bus stop and the old town, which made getting around Malta very convenient. We stayed in an apartment with a kitchenette, which was useful and made the stay more comfortable. However, a few basic items were missing, such as paper towels and some essential kitchen utensils. The host was generally responsive and helpful, although there were...

"I did get good response from property for check-in and response to requests. I was very disappointed in the conditions of the apartment. It is very dated and in need of repairs and upgrading. The floors are old and in bad condition. There is peeling paint around the windows sill. I contacted the property as no ceiling lights worked. They did have a service person come the following day to replace bulbs, but two blew out so there might be a ceiling wiring issue? The kitchen is minimally...

"Good location, quiet, short walk to promenade, convenience store nearby, spacious property with a balcony, very clean. Worried initially as there were practically no reviews but it is a genuine company called Holi. Good coms. The shower had a tendency to leak but no biggie. There was a power cut and they door keypad stopped working for an hour, otherwise it would be five stars. We could still get out, but not back in until the power came back on. We would stay again"
