Nice room, they kindly upgraded me. There was a 6.0 earthquake while here and the building coped well! No cracks or problems. Absolutely loved the american style restaurant upstairs with live music and great food.

The dining areas very good(a bit expensive but good) and staff very friendly, but the maintenance of the accomodation has declined significantly since last visit. Unlikely we will choose XYZ for accomodation in the future. Very poor wi-fi, excessive noise from above floor, multiple minor maintenance issues in room, fridge didnt work

Great time I definitely recommend this hotel
Great time, very accommodating and excellent customer service. met up with family at the hotel, we all had rooms, and could spend time together having fun. The in room massages were perfect and just what I needed!

Hotel XYZ is the Gem of Tacloban City! I can see why it’s so well-rated. I was skeptical, but that changed once I saw how clean it was. The floors sparkled, room was large and well appointed. Beautiful room colors! The room was beautiful. The only negative was I asked for water, and they never delivered any like promised. Simple mistake. Overall, I give Hotel XYZ an A if you’re traveling through the airport or around Tacloban, if you find this place it’s worth it! Maraming salamat sa Hotel XYZ!

Best hotel in Tacloban. Have 40 plus stays here. Staff are the best, food is always top notch in either restaurant. Exceptional deserts and coffee drinks in the cafe. Sad the mini bars and breakfast buffet haven't made it back from COVID. Breakfast is still great!!

I booked 2 rooms. Only one was available at the time of my check in. The other room was made available a couple of hours later. The first room was already tiny, yet the 2nd one was even smaller. The bathroom when I went inside the room after checking in had a cracked toilet tank which I reported to the front desk. The bathroom also has a sewer-like fouls smell.

Visited for a week from the US. Super friendly staff, Clean rooms, Great restaurants with very good food, Nice pool with an amazing view. Myself and my in-laws enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

Family room was good except toilet have a leakage and loft ac does not work properly. Eventhough it was on on cool function still warm the loft area. Swimming pool was dirty. There was plastic and feathers floating around the swimming pool. The upperstaircase in the deep pool was broken and lower case just an improvise string.

The hotel is old and needed a fixing, I booked 2 rooms both rooms are horrible. I didnt complain about the room but I was very angry about the free breakfast we had on June 01,2023. My family & I was having breakfast and my wife was almost done eating she found a live worm on her plate after cutting her daing na bangus, she was'nt going to finish eating her fish but I told her to eat it all but when she cut it a white worm came out of it. I asked for a manager while showing the worm to the waitress. Supervisor Shiela Jaca came to our table apologizing about it, I was'nt happy enough with her apologies.
