"For a beach hotel, the tub, tile floor, and visible carpets were free of sand. The hotel has some wear, such as on the baseboards, but the place is a great beach getaway! Currently, the beach access requires 131 outdoor stairs, but there are multiple platforms to stop and pause while others pass close by if needed. "Location was the best quality. The yard was unkempt with grass that needs mowing and with an obvious mole problem. The shower needed a thorough cleaning and there was hair everywhere. The bedspread had stains and looked like it had not been laundered. The worst thing was the code for my room key pad was read out loud in front of other patrons. When I returned to my room it was unlocked. I locked it and checked it before leaving."

"Front desk was nice and refunded us for additional nights we did not stay. The sheets, desk, and sink were clean in the room but the walls and door frame had gunk all over them. There was also a disgusting smell throughout the property and the hallways seemed to be the worst with dog hair and dirt everywhere. Staying for a night was not the end of the world but we could not stay the whole time and we wouldn't recommend or go back."

"Room was clean, a bit outdated, but the husband and I were there for the view from the balcony, my goal was to sit back and relax and watch the waves. The hot tub was a nice touch and perfect for the evening to soak in and watch the sunset.
Only thing I’d suggest is maybe adding some way to cool the room at night (a fan or small AC unit), granted it was right on the coast but it was still 70 something at 11:00pm, the room stayed hot all night even with the door to the balcony open.

"Everything was wonderful and peaceful. The beach was clean and always almost empty. We had a room with a kitchette and there was a Fred Meyer and Walmart just up the road a short way. We were close to several sites, like agate beach and devils punch bowl. Overall, amazing and we are planning our next trip and will be staying there again."
