We had an overnight stay at the View Park Hotel and availed the Standard Room with free breakfast. All the staff were really nice, cheerful and accommodating. They gave us welcome drinks. They greeted us whenever they meet us, asking how was our stay, our sleep, the food, etc. The food was also great. We ate our lunch at Siglo, the restaurant on the grounds of View Park Hotel. We ordered bulalo, liempo and steamed rice. It was all good. I think the price is okay considering the good food, compared to other restaurants we eat at when we are in Manila. We also enjoyed the cafe latte and cappuccino from Adam's Cafe, also located in the hotel grounds.
About our room: it was nice. I wasn't really expecting for a big room as we only availed of the Standard option. But it was really neat, and the bathroom was clean and had free toiletries (toothbrushes and toothpastes, soaps and shampoos, toilet paper, towels, disposable slippers) though we brought our own toiletries because we are really particular with our chosen brands. One thing which lacked was the bidet, but I am not sure if they have bidets in upgraded rooms.
About the swimming pool: the pool was small and only 5 feet deep though they also have smaller pool for kids. But I would say the pool was clean and had no smell (some hotel/resort pools we've visited had strong chlorine smell unlike this one), which made me enjoy the brief dipping, just suitable if you want to cool from the heat of afternoon sun.
