"A lovely property designed in a traditional Thai pavilion style set on the beach and within the closed Laguna development. The hotel is spacious, beautifully maintained and has nice facilities like pool, gym, bar and restaurants. Only critiques are that the steps into the pools are concrete and in a lot of places quite sharp/rough to bare skin. Also, the staffing is a little short and require more english speaking as the guests are mostly not Thai."

"We absolutely love staying at the Marriott — it’s without a doubt our favourite hotel! ❤️ The all-inclusive package is fantastic and makes the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. There’s so much to choose from, and the food across the resort is consistently delicious. The Beach Grill, La Cala, Chang Thai and Merchant Kitchen are all fantastic, with plenty of variety to suit everyone. The pickleball court and pools are also great — everything is so well maintained, and there’s always something fun to do. The swim-up bar is brilliant, and the Rum Shack is exceptional. A special mention to Nina at the Rum Shack, who is a master at creating cocktails, she’s absolutely delightful and always makes you feel so welcome! 🍹 The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet, and the beach, reef and beautifully maintained grounds are simply fantastic. But honestly, the best thing about this resort is the staff. Especially All the people in the beach grill and the pool staff! Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and genuinely happy to help. They go above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible stay, and that’s what keeps bringing us back. We absolutely love this place and can’t wait to return next year ❤️🌴"

Staff, food and service at the Crocodile bar was brilliant. Rooms could have been a bit cleaner. Breakfast was okay, but a bit repetitive. Beach quite stoney. Gym in desperate need of investment"
