"The first room I was given had a LARGE spider that greated me in the bathroom! I requested another room and thankfully was given one. The convenience store area at the front desk needs replenished and maintained. The most disappointing was the free "breakfast." The buffet was very slim. Few choices. "Not very clean. Worn carpet, sink drained slowly, toilet didnt flush very well. Lights in bathroom and hallway went out and the woman at the front desk had to reset the breaker. Bed and pillow were uncomfortable."

"The room was very humid despite all of our attempts to dry it out. There is no fan in the bathroom for humidity. The moisture made all metals corrode and it was just uncomfortable. Not good for asthmatics."

While we asked more than once and they said our rooms were side by side, they weren’t but were close enough. The place was clean and each room had plenty of space to be comfortable. "The room was clean, the beds were great, the breakfast was really good. The elevators broke down not long after our check in. We were staying for 3 days. Staff informed us the maintenance person was on vacation and wouldn't be back for 5 days. One would think Holiday Inn Express would have some sort of back up plan. Most businesses would call a vendor or something in a situation like this rather than post a note on the elevator door for 5 days. Those stairs to the 4th floor got old real quick...

"The staff were all very nice, especially the young lady at the front desk when I checked in. My room appeared clean at first, but I found nasty stains and hair on the floor in one corner of the room, and there was an old container of ice cream in the freezer. I was only there for one night while on a two-day drive. It was sufficient for my needs, but I wouldn't stay more than one night."
