"Front office staff were very helpful, respectful, and friendly. This is a review of the hotel room conditions. First room was awful. Leaking faucet and disgusting looking sink, with mottled caulking. I complained so We were transferred to another room. No hot water and the shower head was spraying mist instead of water. "This is a very nice hotel, with a great staff a nice gym, excellent swimming pool, and good restaurant. The beds are comfortable. The concierge in front desk are excellent probably one of the best places in Davao city."

"Clean en suite bedrooms, cozy, and we had restful night. Electrical outlet not working so unable to use the electrical kettle to boil drinking water. Outlets are only for 2-prong cords. Be sure to bring your own adapter for 3-prong cords because the property does not have to lend. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is just alright. ""I had a wonderful stay at the Insular, thanks to the outstanding views, lush landscapes, and the rich history of the property. The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly welcoming. However, I was disappointed by the condition of the beach. There was a significant amount of debris and garbage flowing from the canal, to the point where I found myself picking up litter during my visit. With a bit more attention to beach maintenance."
