"We had a cozy room on the top floor facing north with wonderful views and excellent air flow. The breakfasts were out of this world, and the service was very pleasant. They also bake some great cakes and cookies. It’s also well located for two wonderful walks. The stone circle and Walla Crag."

"Booked a double room but got a room with 3 single beds. Not the end of the world but not what I booked. Beds were uncomfortable. Mattress was really thin, when you sat on it you were basically sat on the bed base and when you laid on the bed you could feel the springs in your back and side. The walls were wafer thin, you can hear the tap running and toilet etc from the room next door. Also the water in the bathroom made a right racket when you ran the tap, shower or flushed the toilet. "Very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfasts and generally a comfortable place to stay. Having a guest fridge and being able to heat your own food instead of eating out every evening was a great facility."
