"I was absolutely charmed to find this beautiful little cottage close to downtown Vicksburg. It appears that the same management runs the Duff Greene mansion nearby. That is where breakfast and the welcoming glass of wine are served. Anyway, still cottage has three rooms on the street level as well as a lovely little lounge. They were very welcoming of my dog who also helped felt right at home and was on her best behavior I guess because it felt like home. It’s right on the historic walking trails in Vicksburg, which was a nice little perk as well. The only thing I would change about this spot is to upgrade the mattresses and pillows. They are very definitely in the OK range. That said, I will very likely stay here each time I make this annual trip."
