"This beautiful b&b was our home-away-from-home while we visited Alaska. Brad and Jinks have curated the most comfortable, peaceful and accessible lodging environment in one of the most gorgeous areas in Alaska. They were friendly and accommodating.
Our bed was super comfortable and even though we were there almost at ‘summer solstice’ peak and it stayed light outside for almost 20 hours … the shades in our room allowed for perfect blockage for a great night’s sleep. Breakfasts were homemade, generous, healthy and delicious. The variety each morning was delightful, some of which included reindeer sausage, frittatas, fresh wild blueberries they picked themselves from Hatcher Pass, Jinks’ homemade jellies and delicious biscuits, eggs Benedict …mmm … so good. Jinks even packed a to-go breakfast for us when we had to leave super early one morning for our railroad/Seward yacht excursion. We also loved meeting the other guests at breakfast and comparing notes from our Alaskan adventures.
As an added bonus, Jinks is also a potter. I wanted a unique Christmas ornament and I was thrilled to find ‘just the one’ in her collection for sale. One of my favorite souvenirs of the whole trip.
Each day was full of amazing adventures for us, and at the end of each very full day, we found ourselves saying, ‘That was awesome! Let’s go home.’ Home was the Snowgoose Pond B&B. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Alaska, this is where we will stay."
"Shampoo AND conditioner is included as well as lotion. Fridge in room was working but it is turned off between guests so it will take a long time to cool down. We were on the backside so we had a nice view of the mountains. The outside of the window could use a good cleaning. Price is reasonable for Alaska. Room was large and comfortable."
"12 rooms, detached from main building sitting on the Lake. Spacious and clean. Staff is totally the best. The restaurant, “Everett’s”, is one of the best restaurants that I have eaten at. Great place to stop relax, eat and play on the lake"
"Very clean hotel. Staff arrived within seconds of needing assistance in my room with the AC. AC worked great after that. Great shower. No phones in room to reach staff, so you will need to get their phone number from the website. Staff very friendly and helpful."
