This is such a great kept little.secret in Indiana ! It's located in the Charlestown state.park, a good little.hike and you find Rose.Island, right next to the Ohio River. It is an abandoned amusement park That was destroyed from a flood in the 30s. All that is left are skeletons of several areas of the park , and information signs and articles , with old.pictures to tell you what you are looking at ! It's also home to the remains of the first cement, filtered swimming pool in the Midwest ! This walkway was called something like the wall of the roses , don't quote me ! Just breathtaking in the fall!
