"The staff was the best! In Anchorage from the Kenai for surgery, we received so much kindness and assistance. From the initial greeting of someone to help with our luggage through the rest of our 4-day stay, we were pleasantly surprised with the courtesy and thoughtfulness of the staff. The room was clean and well maintained, but it was the people who were the number one reason we'll go back. The blonde lady at the desk, the talented breakfast preparer, the room service attendants--all of them...

"Very satisfied with this property. Well maintained and clean. Personable staff. Shared bathrooms impressively clean. Shared kitchen areas are well maintained with free coffee in the morning. Guest rooms have huge windows, TV, cable, internet. Its a simple, comfortable and safe place to stay and at a fraction of the price of other hotels further away from downtown."

"The hotel was undergoing some renovations. The TVs were not working on either night of my stay. If the TVs had been Smart TVs connected to the internet, the issue could have been avoided. It's difficult to say what the rating would be after the renovations."
