I have never been welcomed with so much helpful information at any establishment in my life. Our cabin was quaint and cozy. The two local pubs were both in walking distance and had delicious dinners. My best!

The cabin was fantastic, very clean and tidy - most of all very, very quiet. The attention from the female caretaker was outstanding, she made sure everything was to our satisfaction, all in all a great stay. Would recommend to anyone to stay there.

We got the ship room, with balcony - quirky but very dated. The lower part of the boat is quite humid - at night you must close all windows unless you want milllion bugs in your room, so no way to sit outside and enjoy the stars but during the day the views are so pretty. The retreat was perfect in every way the view from the front windows of the river exiting the lake with all the activity going on was in intoxicating and the whole house met our needs to be above and beyond. I would recommend this place to anyone who was in this area.
