"Nice, new hotel. Rooms were spacious. We had a king suite and double queen suite. The queen suite was very large was perfect for everyone to gather in. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. Seemed like the kitchen had good basic - didn’t use anything other than the toaster. Location was great, very close to Dt. Sydney. Would recommend staying here."

"I booked two rooms for my travel guests and they loved them. Very clean and they loved the coffee machine once they figured out how to use them. Staff were very friendly through check in. I would definitely recommend this spot."

"A great priced stay. Be sure to bring earplugs if you are going to run the fan/air conditioner. It was so loud in my room (and the room smelled stale and smokey) that I turned the air conditioner off and opened the screened sliding door for fresh air. The area was very quiet and it made it much easier to sleep."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"We stayed in Room 114 on June 2, 2026 for one night. Room was clean and easily accessible. Laundry services were great after a week on Vancouver Island! Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside is the A/C stopped working after being in the room for about 3 hours. The “filter” indicator light came on. Which was fine. It wasn’t that hot out at night and the fan on the A/C worked just fine. Close to the airport and ferry terminal. And the restaurant on the property was great. Hotel guests...

"We enjoyed our stay at Brentwood in terms of the accommodation. The restaurant was closed and ‘The Pub’ was average at best. Our tiramisu was fridge freezer cold and had hidden parchment paper underneath.. we were not offered a refund and it put a sour taste on our eating experience. The location of the resort is great with plenty of parking and we walked to Butchart gardens."

"We loved our short stay at Bayview B&B! Juliette was communicative leading up to check-in, and we really enjoyed visiting with her during breakfast. She is a fantastic cook! Already looking forward to planning a longer stay here."
