"Staff so friendly, I emailed them ahead of time to ask if we could store our bags for a Milford sound cruise and they responded so fast! We were also able to early check in. Parking was right next to the room and that made it easy. Room was also so spacious and clean. Lots of amenities!"

"Awesome place if you’re out these ways. Philippa and Rob are amazing hosts. We got a garden view room with a lovely view. Convenient location. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again"

"Special appreciation for Kerri who was incredibly kind to allow us to check in early. I had been battling food poisoning and needed to get to a bed earlier than normal check in. Not only did she get us in early, she also had recommendations on what to take to feel better and personally checked on my health the next day. "We booked the hotel room (not the motel). And it turned out that the it's pretty old hotel, and it seemed only 4 of us (2 rooms) were staying there, probably because it was low season? The cleanliness was ok, however we chose not to stay there and moved to other motel that are closer to town center. "
