"My wife and I had a great two-night stay at the Movenpick Fruske Residence. The warm weather, water park and saunas made for great relaxing time in a very clean and well-maintained area. We stayed two weeks earlier with our kids, and between our stays, they opened a new pool and grassy area to sun in. The choice of several different saunas was enjoyable. "Everyone is really friendly and welcoming to travelers. This is a super cool city where most people get around using bikes. It's got tons of great food and entertainment options and is extremely safe for those coming from outside Serbia. Highly recommend! Also, if you are booking with expedia, make sure you have the hotel contact expedia to confirm payment. We were charged initially because that info never made it to the hotel. Other than that both expedia and Sheraton NS made this an easy place...

"Very nice place in the heart of Novi Sad. Fantastic location. The building seem old and grey from outside, but the inside was made into modernly design hotel. Room was very spacious, shower as well, and big and comfy bed. Reception is available until 23 only, but can wait there for late check ins. We got to park for free. Breakfast is served in a restaurant by the hotel, not buffet."

"Hotel is located just steps away from Novi Sad's pedestrianized zone, Republic Square, and Danube Park. It's about a 20 minute walk across the Danube to the fortress on the river bluff. Wonderful vistas of the Danube and Novi Sad. Hotel Putnik has a nice breakfast buffet, good wifi, ample hot water in the shower. There's limited onsite parking but I was able to secure one of the spots available."
