"After a hard day on the Camino this was a tranquil oasis in the heat of the summer sun. We had a wonderful welcome with staff being extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful, I was very impressed that they were able to help with a little late birthday surprise for my partner. The only way we believe this stay could have been improved was if they had a small pool to relax at and cool down in, however we did know this was not one of the available facilities when booking so could not mark them down...

"Nicely maintained grounds. Gardens make it a nice surrounding. Available pool needs algae control. Water was clear, but algae spots could bee seen across both adults and kids pools. Rooms are a little tired, but clean and nice. It is a good rural hotel for the price. Location is away from downtown pontevedra, but right on el Camino, so it is a good space to stop. It is on top of a hill, so you will need extra legs for the final stretch."

"Location, location location. An historic place, located in a peninsula ((guess it was an island before), very close to the beach promenade. Luscious grounds and breathtaking views of the bay. The views from our window were spectacular. Hotel is well kept. Staff is professional and corteous, a little dry on the front desk, but not so at the restaurant and bar, where the staff was always smiling and helpful. Very refreshing. Our room was spacious and well appointed, with gorgeous views....

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Hesperia during our first trip to mainland Spain, where we were attending a wedding in the region. Before check-in, we were offered a great-value upgrade to a terrace room, and it exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised to have the entire corner terrace to ourselves, with beautiful mountain views. It was definitely worth the upgrade! The hotel was easy to find, and there were plenty of great brunch spots within walking distance. We also appreciated...
