Everything was very calm and relaxing, staff were friendly and helpful in keeping our room clean as well as providing options for excursions, and the property was beautiful. "My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay."

"Third time I’ve been to Delfin! Access to the beautiful, uncrowded beach right in front, complete with beach chairs and umbrellas, can’t be beat. Rooms aren’t fancy but are comfortable (the new mattresses are great!), and the AC was strong. Eduardo is my favorite bartender! I do wish they’d rethink the strategy of day passes for big groups (can hurt the experience for guests who are staying at the hotel and expect easy access to pool chairs, cabana, dining room, etc.). "
