"When I called to ask about the Deluxe Inn in Elkton, MD I was asked if I was a smoker, I replied no, then was quoted a rate but warned that there would be an extra surcharge if I smoked in the room. Once again, after checking in, I was asked if I smoked. This may seem a bit excessive, but I'm glad they asked. This is not a luxurious place to stay, its on the older side but very well maintained and clean. I got a chance to speak to the handyman for the facility. He too is very on point and...

"Check in was super fast and the lady at the front desk was very nice and fast. The bed was very clean and nicely made. For a one night stay it was pretty nice. One thing I do have to complain about is we walked by the pool and it was very yellowish green so we didn’t go in it."

"This B&B had so much character! So cozy and the staff was so nice. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and thoughtful. It was very easy for us to care for our horses at Fair Hill - about 8 minutes away. Only downside was a train I heard throughout the night... not sure if that is just seasonal. It could easily be covered with a white noise machine :)"

"This is an old hotel. It had been redone and worked well for us. Unfortunately, we were in room 202 which is near the elevator. Very loud when it was running. Wife did not sleep well. Hotel staff are very friendly. Breakfast was nice. Thank you"

"The room was not clean it was more so the smell from the blankets, the bathroom was dirty and hair was in the tub and a spider, the outside was nice. The young guy was cool but for the price it's not worth it honestly and I thought Delaware didn't tax. Also no one comes around to clean the rooms like normal motels do so don't look forward to getting a clean room."
