"So i suppose the price for a night isnt bad, but when youre expecting a whole apartment aslisted and there are others there, its not so great. Stood outside door for 20mins. Not easy to get key via access code( no email before) 2 towels for 3 people, 1 was damp, 1 had a brown 'stain' on it. Bedding old and worn. Headboards dubiously stained!!!!"

"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. "

"Had a lovely stay here as was down to visit Emma Bridgewater. The hotel was central with excellent parking across the road . we had a lovely twin room which was spacious and modern and clean . The reception staff were friendly and helpful . A nice busy bar with friendly staff which we enjoyed a drink in in the evening . We didn't dine in the hotel as ventured out in the evening to support the local businesses. Didn't try the gym . The only downside is there was no spa / sauna / pool but we...

"The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. "
