"StaffJ, Breakfast, Clean room"

"We realized when we arrived, there is a new section and an old section and we were in the old section. There was coffee out during the day, but when we arrived home in the evening, it was gone. The breakfast was adequate, but no muffins. There’s no swimming pool, which I do enjoy in a hotel and for $350 a night I would’ve hoped for one. The staff were pleasant and helpful."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"Older hotel. Shares hot water with other rooms and resulting in us not having hot water for shower. Room was missing outlet cover plate. No fan in bathroom. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Rooms could be more soundproof. There was a washer and dryer on each level that were free to use. Staff was excellent and would have tried to take some off the amt because of the water issue, but because we booked through Expedia, they couldn’t do anything."

"Our room was large and well equipped. The staff was very courteous and helpful especially the gentleman who helped us use the EV charger outside. We thought we would have access to a high-speed charger but the one that was available was a level two charger. Fortunately there was no one else who needed it so we used it for the night and had our car fully charged in the morning. The restaurant had little or no accommodations for allergies such as coeliac disease, which was very difficult for us...

"Loved staying here, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was with the pillows, that were new but very firm. At home I use down pillows and these were too firm for me. Otherwise the staff was great and the hotel very nice."
