"Check in was easy. Staff were helpful. The room was quite nice and the bathroom was clean and updated, with a flashy lovely anti fog mirror. The bed was comfortable (very high) but the pillows were all over-stuffed- not a selection of flatter and fluffier. The heater/cooler is the old fashioned type that rumbles, loud+++. So between the ridiculous pillows and the rumble all night, sleep was minimal. The TV was beyond frustrating - two different remotes that each do their own thing, they...

"We stayed in the older part of the hotel overlooking the lake, so we had a great view every morning. There was a window open when we arrived, making the room fresh! The room had 4 or 5 good lamps or lights around the room, so everyone had good lighting! Breakfast was always available in the morning with real blueberries!! Staff were so friendly and kept everything so clean!!"

"Hotel is well situated at the harbour front, with numerous restaurants nearby. It’s within walking distance to downtown Halifax and the citadel. The staff members are courteous and helpful. The rooms are well appointed."

"Just a good place to stay. A little hard to find; Google Maps live helped me out, make sure your smartphone’s battery is charged. Construction is nearby, just close the windows and you’ll sleep in just fine. Staff is limited but very friendly and very helpful. My room was missing TP; so I call front desk. House phone unplugged! I replug the phone, and call front desk and within minutes I had TP. They use fabric softener in their bedsheets and towels; if you are allergic or fragrance...
