"Well, Franco is what really makes the stay. He gives all sorts of tips and advice for what to visit and where to go and even books restaurants for you. That being said the masseria is a bit in the middle of nowhere. The dog Diana is the highlight of the stay. She is always there to welcome you when you return to the property. "Very unique room we stayed in. The cave was magnificent, very spacious and comfortable. The terrace outside was exquisite! The room had a dehumidifier that was working the first night, but we noticed on the second night, It wouldn’t come on. So the air was damp that night. Would definitely stay here again and again !"

"Lovely property. You need a car if going to old Matera. Grocery store close by. Pretty grounds and great pool (although like most Italian pools, not heated.) we found easy parking lots near the historic area so it is ok. The photos are deceiving because the spa whirlpool tub is not included - you have to pay 100 euro per couple to use those amenities. That should be made clear in the listing or they shouldn't show the photos. " Cave" hotel room is fun but only a window at door and in bathroom....

"The property is clean and unique (a trullo). The paid parking is close by. The breakfast is pretty good but nothing too special. If you want to stay in a trullo in a very convenient location it is worth it. But if you are willing to drive (or walk) a bit, I am sure you can find cheaper options. Compared to our other stays in Puglia I think this stay was a bit too expensive for what it was. "

"We stayed longer than intended because of the options to visit the surrounding areas and their accessibility. The place is easy to find with GPS. Parking is secure and on site. The host, Francesco and his son Damian are very helpful. The room was large (more like a suite), the bed was very comfortable, the shower ran hot and strong. Even the cleaning lady was a happy, entertaining soul. There are eating options very close and the area appeared safe to us as we roamed at night."
