"The rooms and bathrooms are renovated, very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was clean but very ugly and outdated, it really didn't match with the rooms or bathroom. There was a general weird, old, bad smell all over the property. The outside was not very appealing, it had a construction area right in front, busy ugly street, the only nice thing was the huge tree, it would be great if they added flowers and plants, they certainly have the space. Vending machines were not shown on floor diagrams, so I asked person at desk., was not aware of any sent me across the laneway to restaurant that was closed. Found vending machines next day. Juice , coffee and water machines in lobby offer free are turned off at noon, bizarre. Parking 10$ a night, should be included, free parking approx 300 metres away. "Given some negative reviews I was expecting a poor quality place. But it was truly excellent for the price! Friendly and helpful staff, comfy king bed, clean and well stocked kitchenette, cheap laundry machines! Good pool and hot tub! Attached to Denny's for easy breakfast. Room for improvement: uncomfortable sofa bed, some mold in shower grout. There was a fire alarm and evacuation at 3am that was problematic because staff turned OFF the alarm before everyone evacuated, which was confusing and...

"The peacefulness of BBR was beyond our expectations. The area has so much to do if you want to participate in activities. The resort has many relaxing places to be. The views are top notch and the food was always excellent. If you have the opportunity to stay for a few days, do it."
