"The staff was very welcoming and lovely. The room was very clean, and the cleaning staff was very diligent. The breakfast was good with a wide enough variety that something different could be chosen from day to day. The only downside was the ability to get around without a vehicle of our own. Otherwise it had a lovely setting and was very relaxing"

"The appartement itself was well appointed and very comfortable, but our experience was negatively affected by an incident in the parking area. We were approached by a male individual who we could not identify as either a guest or a member of management. He berated us for how we had parked, speaking in a rude and intimidating manner. Had there been an issue with our parking, a polite explanation would have been appreciated. Instead, the interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. As...

"First time back in many years after I used to stay there for work. Don’t remember quite so many pillows on the bed back then but if all else fails your can sleep sideways 😉. Only real gripe is that breakfast is £15! Coffee and a bacon butty was half the price and to be fair it was freshly made and very nice 😊"

"No staff at reception to check in, toilet was broken, just hot water in the shower which made impossible to take a proper shower. Fire alarm went off at early morning which turned out to be a false alarm and staff at duty didn’t have clue how to reset it. It was sounding for more than an hour walking up every one in the cold and rain. Not worth the price"

"It was all over good but hotel was above the bar which was noisy at night and unpleasant for family stay. Water kittle was not cleaned properly. Towels were not sufficient. Main thing is hotel front desk was another side of the road in an Indian restaurant and restaurant get closed after 8 or 9 pm and no intercom in rooms . It was literally horrifying after getting dark."

"The Hotel was clean, welcoming and in a great location. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and ready to answer any questions. Food was great and breakfast offered a selection to suit everyone. We were there during the early stages of the Commonwealth Games, so it was very busy, but the atmosphere was lovely. Room great and very quiet. Would definitely stay again."

"If you are wanting to be close to Glasgow but not in the city centre then this is a fab hotel to stay at. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the train station and it’s only 20 mins into the city for around £5 return. The hotel was lovely, with a nice breakfast. Our room was exactly as described and the shower was the best I’ve experienced. The hotel has a great bar but there is a pub around the corner across the road from the train station. A lovely place to stay in a lovely location."

"I found the hotel adequate, but the neighborhood was a little sketchy and dirty. The room was quite small and the bathroom room was difficult to navigate for two people. The bed was comfortable and quiet. The staff at the front desk was warm and helpful. It wouldn’t be my top choice and I probably wouldn’t go there again."
