"A lovely oasis outside the main tourist areas yet still close enough to walk to everything. I’d read the reviews about the “rough” neighbourhood, but while it is not picturesque, it always felt safe. The hotel has loveky bright rooms, and is scrupulously clean. "Lovely appointed hotel, very peaceful, convenient and with secure parking. We used this hotel for a 2 day stop over, before catching the ferry to Santorini. Could not get a more luxurious and convenient hotel for the ferry!! Highly recommend the restaurant Peskesi in Heraklion (book) and a visit to Stilianou winery (both highlights of our brief but very comfortable stay at this hotel)."

"We stayed one night before catching an early (6am) flight. The apartment was perfect for our needs. Central so easy to access the old town of Heraklion, and to find restaurants in easy walking distance. The ride to the airport was only about 11 or 12 minutes. It is central, and so there was street noise for much of the night so if you want quiet choose somewhere else."
