"This was a beautiful hotel with eclectic decor, a lovely sensory room for guests, a fun gallery, coffee and breakfast, walkable neighborhood, close proximity to MASS MoCA, and friendly helpful staff. Room was super clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay."

"Everything was lovely at Maple Terrace. The accommodations were better than expected. I especially loved the surroundings next to a horse farm as it was very peaceful and serene. The pool was very clean and refreshing albeit a bit cold in the water. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable but the bathroom was small and outdated. Overall we enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back!"

"This place is all about the view! It is so incredible! The room was large enough to accommodate all 4 of us in a double queen room and was very clean and comfortable! All of the amenities were very nice as well (bring a swimsuit if you want to use the sauna/hot tub!). The owner of the Inn was very sweet and even the porch dog, Jojo, was a great addition! Overall, we had a very lovely stay. I highly recommend!"

We should have read the descriptions and reviews more carefully. On return, after checking the listing, it was perfectly clear. "Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall.
