Needs a remodel

The owners and staff were great but the room and hotel itself is like a trap house there were drug addicts and it was run down and was not a place to bring family and kids

Service was fast , efficient and friendly at the front desk when I checked in at a late hour, and all my room preferences had been accomodated without me saying a word. The staff at The Tampa Inn near Busch Gardens has always been wonderful to me and I am glad to have my home away from home

The property was what I expected for 2 stars. The sheets were clean and we had housekeeping every day. The water pressure was good and the air was working. For the cons. There were only 2 small towels for 2 of us for 3 nights. The mini fridge was 1/3 full of ice. Like it needed defrosting. The tv screen had crayon markings on it. The WiFi was really slow.

I booked this hotel because it was close to Bush Gardens. The pool looked like there was mold growing on the bottom, black in all the cracks and crevices but the water didn’t feel gross so that’s something. The room was clean..ish. When I woke in the middle of the night I observed a (single, only one I can confirm I saw. However, where there is one there are many) roach in the sink which made me wonder; if there is mold in the pool and roaches in the room perhaps that’s why the shower tile was black and the carpet was dark. I would not stay here again and they should lower the rate and at every least fumigate!

The staff is very nice qnd professional. However the area is not what was expected from the pictures that is showing on expedia. The room was very clustered and the closet was on the door where it was hard to get in.

Liked that the staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy. Microwave and small fridge worked well. There was no coffeemaker. The toilet was not secured properly and no bathtub stopper. Broken fire alarm. Paid $40.00 extra for the two dogs.

Room was old, but cleaner than expected based on outside appearance. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom fixtures were clean but floor needed a good cleaning. Towels were cery thin and worn. Average rating of '3', good for just an overnight stay but pricey for what we got.

We did not end up staying here. I’m waiting for my refund. The room was filthy, there was trash everywhere outside, and we did not feel safe here at all. I’m amazed that you would suggest this place to anyone.

Horrible

BIG Dead roach by toilet. Didn’t feel room or refrigerator was really clean. Bed was of as far as comfortable. But other residents were constantly walking, sitting on sidewalk in front of ALL room doors. Talking & laughing loudly until 2-3am EVERY DAY! And started right back up early the next morning. The only good thing is that the manager was very nice, understanding and helpful. But will NEVER stay there again, hurricane or not!
