Loved everything about the stay. Renovations were going on which we did not know so it was a little out of sorts, but it was okay. Parking is a chore and valet is expensive. Staff was great. Door lock was missing so it looked a little rough but it scanned just looked very broken. Staff is always A++++. Super comfortable room - love the new couch. Convenient to everything. Love the ambience on the riverwalk worth the $$$

The best thing about this hotel was the staff. Usually, Westins are great. Unfortunately, this particular stay was one challenge after another. First, we were notified 2 days before arrival, the roofdeck pool would be out of use (the pool deck and a few drinks outdoors were key in picking this hotel). Staff was kind enough to waive $130 fee for our 4 day stay. Then, the room had a strong cigarette smell which was then masked with some chemical cleaner resulting in a string cigarette / chemical smell mix. Could not change suites as the hotel was full. Lastly, on our first morning, there was a water leak just outside our room resulting in an industrial fan being placed just outside our suite and running 24/7 for our entire stay. Needless to say, the noise was not conducive to any peaceful night sleep for 3 out of 4 nights. So overall, it was one issue after another. Again though, the staff were really great and friendly. (Pics are time stamped starting the first morning with fans running for 4 days non stop).

The room was very clean and nice, had a great view on the bay and it was super relaxing. The location is also amazing, right in the city of Tampa, we were able to walk to every place we went to, dinner, lightning games, etc.
