"Affordable Breakfast at the hotel restaurant ( with coupon) is an attractive feature. We do not need to leave the hotel compound to look for breakfast."

"Restaurant and café were also very good and a voucher towards the purchase was generous. The only thing was that the room was set to 65-68f and not changeable (thermostat control does not work). Even when I turned off the fan, I could feel cold air coming in. So it's perfect for people who like the room to be cool. But for me, it was VERY cold."

"Very nice hotel, great location. Amenities nearby. Clean room. Great restaurant. The coffee shop and store closed earlier than we would have liked, especially with late flights in and out. The pool area was nice but we noticed a lot of random people (not hotel guests) using the pool making it over crowded & potentially unsafe/secure! With a $45 per night resort fee, I would have thought the pool would be for guests only."

"Property was as per photos and as described. Instructions, including parking, matched the process. Midway representative was very helpful since there was some confusion about whether Midway was no longer managing the rental unit. They were able to find a comparable unit to replace the previously booked unit. Negative is that full disclosure should be made on Expedia at time of booking (not after booking), if certain property amenities are not available due to construction or renovation."

"Staff was very attentive and polite. The resort sits right in the middle of Waikiki. Only down side was meals were less than filling. For the cost I feel that the food and portion size were small. Breakfast was very unsatisfying however the restaurant called Eggs & Things is only two doors down. Overall stay was 4.5 star"

"Great resort for families. Out family of 6 was comfortable in a 2 room suite. Having a kitchen was awesome to prepare breakfast for everyone before heading out on our adventures. Room was also very quiet and overall excellent!"

"Compared to top tier properties, I think Vive does a better job providing amenities for families, and for the beach, including chairs, mats, umbrellas, boogie boards, and even some sunscreen that may have been left by previous guests. The breakfast and coffee in the morning is a nice benefit for Hawaii. The room size for a family of four was larger than most I’ve seen in Hawaii"
