"You cannot beat the view from this hotel of mount etna, the coast and Taormina from above - it was outstanding. You saw this from the restaurant, the infinity pool and also our room. It does mean you are above the town which requires a walk down a fair number of steps into town (and back up) or use of the free hourly hotel shuttle, but the walk is also beautiful and was very doable in October’s mild weather. "I put easy parking because you will park in a lot and then take a free shuttle into town. However, then you have to tow your luggage around to Casa Turrisi and up a large flight of stairs to the reception up to your room on a tight staircase. "From the moment we stepped foot in the NH Collection Taormina we were treated amazingly.
