"A room with a view and a welcome as warm as the setting sun. We had an idyllic night in the Inferno room. Well worth the small upgrade fee to be facing South and enjoy the same view that the vines enjoy all year round. "Location of the hotel is perfect. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast choices are plentiful. One window of the room only had a net curtain, slightly concerned but once I had found it had shutters outside, so leaning out and closing them every night made complete darkness. I can highly recommend this hotel for a stay, views are amazing. "

"I normally do not write reviews; but, wanted to for this hotel. It is a small quaint hotel. It actually has a small pool and hot tub with incredible views. It is actually located in Vezio right outside of Varenna. At first, I was concerned about the location from Varenna. However, Rita the proprietor made sure we had transportation from the train station as well as to and from all of our points of interest. We seriously wanted for nothing. "We can’t recommend more highly Case dei Baff!! A must stay! The grounds are stunning and serene. Corrado and his family were incredibly welcoming and lovely. The food at their restaurant, from the cheese to the wine to the meat, are all sourced from their farm and vineyard. Our meal there was spectacular and unforgettable! We were grateful to be able to take home some of their wine and cheese with us. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!"
