Plenty of toiletries, breakfast provisions of fresh local fare, the pot belly stove was well stocked, electric blankets on the beds and a super friendly host to introduce us to the property then left us alone. Perfect! Add to that the gorgeous dogs to make you feel at home, plenty of local wildlife around and a coffee pod machine in the kitchen made it the perfect stay. "We expected a hotel-style room but walked into a wonderfully wood furnished cottage-like apartment with large 50s style full kitchen/dining room, living room with leather recliners and effective electric fireplace, comfortable bedroom, large bathroom with claw tub, and separate shower. All of the above connected by a great hallway. We stayed an extra night but could have easily rented for a week or more."

"Open fire in a restored old cottage. Lots of Space and a fantastique view. Slight hiccup with hot water but owners most attentive about fixing or providing alternative. Few places in the world you can expérience authentic accommodation on a working farm in the same family for two centuries! Expédia charged significantly more than website itself. "
