"Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. "A surprising find and well worth staying here in a quiet cul de sac. Not far from Tauranga central and other amenities. The owners were great and helped us navigate the area. Breakfast was more than ample, quite a feast."

"Good Spring clean is need but on the surface it was clean enough. Plastic electric jug was unusable due to deterioration of the plastic. Overall a satisfactory-good motel for the price."

"Called Homestead for a good reason lovely B&B set in countryside surrounded by cattle and friendly Alpacas we loved it. Staff very helpful, breakfasts in room tasty and adequate."

"Friendly staff, nice room in general. Getting to the facility was difficult due to recent traffic changes. Despite instructions, I got lost almost every time returning to the room. Bed matress was very well worn, body indents present on each side, probably time for a refresh. Pillows were flat. Large roach in the shower and bug bites while in the room, hopefully just mosquitos."
