"Check-in easy. Property was clean, parking voucher at close by garage worked well, loved the history of the property. Only disappointment was adjacent coffee shop was shuttered and limited dining options near the hotel. Discovered nice little breakfast spot and bakery, Lunch Box open during work week. That being said the Lafayette was lovely."

"Desk staff was helpful with dinner options. Very friendly. Clean room. Great breakfast - one of the best I've had in any small hotel (scrambled eggs 2 ways, potatoes, ham, bakery items, waffles, several juice offerings, yogurt, coffee). Our room was located next to the elevator. We never heard it. We would stay again."

"Buffalo is a tired old city, with many remnants of its glorious industrial past decaying everywhere. This hotel, like all the other hotels in this city, has remnants of that past evident throughout. But the physical plant notwithstanding it does have some features to recommend it. There is a nice small gym and it's closer to restaurants and parking than many of the other hotels. My floor smelled strongly of cigarettes but not my room. The window in my room was cloudy with peeling weatherstripping. The staff went out of their way to accommodate requests. A Large screen TV was welcome."

"We had a wonderful stay! The facility is absolutely beautiful, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot springs. We also appreciated the excellent customer service. When we discovered that the bidet in our room wasn't working, the staff moved us to another room the next day and even upgraded us and gave us drink vouchers, which was a very thoughtful gesture. From the beautiful property to the attentive service, everything exceeded our expectations. We had a great experience and would happily stay here again!"

"What I liked was that the room was adequately clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was wide open with many tables spread around. It would have been a better experience if the closet in the room was maintained well and organized. Breakfast could have included more choices of items."
