"For most this will be a non issue, but the TVs are quite old, and they have overhauled them with their own hotel interface, unfortunately for a tech head like me it made it harder to connect devices. They have Chromecast, but you'd better prey your device has it. The safe wouldnt work, and even the phone in the room (the style over substance red phone) would ring but when you picked up it wouldn't answer. The smart tech in the room seemed to have a life of its own, opening and shutting blinds...

"The location of Hobo Oslo is very central and convenient to public transportation and the central train station. It was also very walkable to just about everything in central Oslo. The breakfast was very good, and my family also enjoyed the adjoining pizza restaurant. The bar area is very colorful, lively, and attractive, and we enjoyed the lounge/library also. "The location of the hotel is great. However, there is no on-site restaurant for breakfast. The breakfast purchased through Bob’s is actually a food voucher that can be used at two nearby restaurants. You may be better off finding a nearby bakery for breakfast yourself, which would give you more flexibility."

"The overall stay was fine. Hotel is centrally located and walking distance to two train stations. Construction within the same building could be heard but that was out of the hotels control. Lastly, one of the front desk employees was less than helpful. He didn’t seem to care or want to help us with storing our luggage in order for it to be picked up the following morning. He was dismissive and we could tell he didn’t care or want to care. Luckily, the person the following morning was amazing....

"Stained sheets and towels, bathroom door with zero privacy, cramped room where you can't even properly open kitchen drawers, shower that has no hot water pressure. They've put limiters on both the hot water and soap dispensers so you don't use "too much" of it. Seriously feels like they care more about saving as much money as possible than actually giving guests a good experience. "A mixed stay to be honest. The bed and room is nice, but then the window framing didn’t fit and was roughly constructed. The bathroom was fine but then just a single unlabelled mystery pump dispenser in shower. The staff were helpful and nice (shout out to those supporting breakfast), and the location was handy for trams (using Oslo pass).
