"The room is clean. Pool is really bad. Small, extremely salty pool water. Feel itchy and has rash after swimming."

"I thought I had reserved the room with breakfast for two, but the staff said that breakfast is not included in the hotel fee."

"The hotel has two fantastic restaurants/bars that serve excellent food and drinks. The location is super convenient, right in the heart of downtown and very close to public transportation, which makes getting around incredibly easy. The only downside were the linens and pillows. The pillows had an oily, musky scalp smell that was pretty unpleasant. It would be great if the hotel could wash the actual pillows more frequently, not just the pillowcases, or replace them periodically."

"Staff were very friendly & accommodating! I paid for the parking option & it was so worth it - valet took care of my luggage & I was able to come & go through texting request for my vehicle. The lobby restaurant dinner options were healthy and perfect so I did not have to find a restaurant somewhere else. Happy, but not noisy, in a very warm environment!"

" Professional and helpful check-in. Room was clean and comfortable. Can self park to save some money. Good location overall. It is an older hotel, and one side faces the city street, the other side backs toward other buildings, so quieter. They asked my preference upon checkin which was nice. Artsy and trendy vibe."

"Loved this hotel. It was one of my favorite hotels that I have stayed in. The staff was amazing and so knowledgeable about the hotel and the area. "

"I wanted my girlfreind and 1 to visit the hotel and see if any paranormal activity would occur. at one point in the evening I went into the restroom and a text from her asked if i were crying? I replyed no and asked why the strange question? she said please dont take long, I hear a man wimpering and crying in the room. So strange sounds and noises happen alot here and I shall return at some time in the future. thanks for the memories"

"Very clean and friendly Hotel. The staff are always top notch. Close to the convention area, easy to get to the downtown or really anywhere from this location. Didnt try th bar, but had good looking food on the menu. "

"The room was very clean, great bath room, Swedish shower! No fridge or microwave and no carts for the suitcases! All hotels need those. But the price was right, the hotel has been restored to a beautiful era! Not sure about parking, though! "

"The Portland Moxy is great, the location, the ease and the hotel itself. A stones throw from Powell’s bookstore and the living room theater (we watched The Stranger) and it is surrounded by good food places (ramen, Mexican burritos and Indian food). A great place"

While the surrounding neighborhood has a visible homelessness issue, the hotel compensates with an excellent rooftop featuring great tacos and impressive views. The staff is exceptionally kind and friendly. Furthermore, the hotel offers excellent common areas for travelers seeking a relaxed yet vibrant workspace."
