"Didn't have breakfast. Went to bar/restaurant but waited a while and no one came to seat us or assist us, so we left and went elsewhere. Location was great. Room was clean but poorly designed. Bed was not comfortable and faced TV sideways. Lights were awful; no reading light over bed. Lights in room were pretty much all or nothing. We weren't told about arrangement for parking until it was too late and we had already had prepaid. "

One thing I noticed about the restaurant manger, was that a staff member was opening a bottle of wine for a guest and the manager went to her and took the bottle of wine from her and opened in front of the guest, this is bad management and he wasn’t a very attentive to his guests, wasn’t impressed with him. "This is a huge old house which has been converted into a hotel in a nice suburb of Dublin, 20/30 mins from city centre depending on transport and traffic. No amenities on site but the rooms are modern and comfortable and I have stayed there many times without any complaints. "

"A really spacious bedroom with immaculately clean bathroom incredible hot water and powerful showers plus the best bed makers in Dublin, all contribute towards a great stay at the plaza. Free parking to boot. We will be back we are regular visitors to Duncan and have tried all the hotels. This is the best. "

"The staff were welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The bus stops were within a minute walk in either direction. Oh... their Caesar Salad... chef's kiss! And Gluten Free seafood chowder. Tip: For travellers visiting during the warmer months, bring a compact fan as they don't have A/C."
