"Couldn’t eat breakfast there becuase it wasn’t safe for celiac. Being charged an extra 30$ a night without knowing in advance was disturbing. Didn’t use any of the extra that were included in the 30$. Having a fee for paying the parking fee that was already ridiculous was absurd!!"

"This hotel is in a great spot right next to the river in historic Savannah which I’m assuming is what justifies the price of the rooms, which are seriously average. Walking in to the room, it has the feel of a very cheap hotel with harsh spotlights and cheap tiles. The bathrooms need upgrading desperately and the room felt dark and cramped. There was a bottle of wine plus two bottles of water on arrival. I’d have gladly opened the wine, but there was no corkscrew in the room! The whole trip felt...

"The staff is great, the beds are comfortable, but the infrastructure needs work. I know they're going for some kind of retro look, but the chairs in our rooms had splitting vinyl and the tiles along the bathroom were cracked & looked dirty, although they may have just been blackened with age. Thunderbird IS convenient to the historical area, but the traffic outside can be pretty noisy. The breakfast donuts were phenomenal. Some of the outlets didn't seem to work. None of this was a problem for...

"Great hotel within 20 minutes walking distance to the River. Clean. Staff are excellent. We had a slight issue with the toilet which was fixed within 10 minutes. We did not avail of the restaurant. We chose a coffee shop which was a 5 minute walk away for breakfast. The only issue: the Valet parking was ridiculously expensive. We will stay here again but will use the parking garage right across the street."
