"We thought this was an extremely engaging family owned boutique hotel with rooms of different sizes, little kitchenettes. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming The hotel did not provide a meal options.Therefore, I have no rating for that. We are looking to go back as a bigger family as our home base for some family celebrations coming up"

"I stayed at the Hotel Kaplan for a three week study program which was a 15 minute walk away. The rooms are clean, comfortable and provide you with the essentials, nothing more. While not an upscale hotel, the owners Eli and Nathan are very welcoming and are definitely part of the experience of staying there. A kitchen is available if you want to do light cooking. "Wow for the price- clean room, warm breakfast, daily cleaning, central location, tv, not dodgy at all. Marvelous to be honest. Shakushuka single egg is just enough. Perfectly baked with runny yolk (the sauce is on the very salty side.) Lovely fresh tomatoes etc and labneh, hummus, cottage. "The staff were helpful, the dining options were great, its proximity to the Old City was perfect. I was most impressed that Mass was said in the beautiful Chapel every evening. If you're in Jerusalem on pilgrimage, this is the place to stay."
