We were in a city room at the north of the building.
On the first night, we were kept awake by the sound of traffic and sirens. The soundproofing is nowhere near good enough.
On the second night, kept awake by the noise of the wind moving through the closed windows. Again, clearly soundproofing is an issue. In the morning, after breakfast, the sound of construction/refurbishment from the connected apartments. Not great.
After the third night - woken at 7:15am by incredibly loud drilling noises. All the receptionist would say is that the builders had the "legal right" to start work at 7am in the morning. Not even an apology!
At that point we had to leave. The manager arrived at around 9:30am and agreed to refund us our remaining seven nights. When we left, the entire building was echoing with the sound of drilling from the apartment renovations.
Other more minor notes: breakfast is pretty good, but hotel itself is small and short on facilities and pleasant places to sit and relax outside of the room. Our room was modern and well furnished with Nespresso machine and pods but rather small. Our safe failed twice but the repair man came quickly in both cases.
Will I return again? Never.
