"De lobby was kil en sfeerloos. Overal felwitte spaarlampen. Slechte acoustiek zoals in een grot. De suite was groot en met gigantische terrassen met zicht al om. Het bed was van goede kwaliteit. De afwerking van de suite liet te wensen over. Er waren overweldigend veel knoppen voor de verlichting (wederom witte spaarlampen). De afwerking kon beter. Geen kitranden, losse wandcontactdozen, losse deurslot. Het bad werd niet warm genoeg. We hebben bijgevuld met de waterkoker. Het diner was een...

"Lovely place to spend a few nights, the private waterfall/plunge pool on the estate was wonderful, the staff were very helpful and friendly, sitting out on the verandah at sunset (or any time really) was just heavenly. The only negative for me was that meals were a bit pricey"

"Sehr schönes Hotel in einer alten Teefabrik. Herausragend war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Das Essen war herrvorragend und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Wir bekamen eine Führung in der Teefabrik wo uns der Teeprozess erklärt und gezeigt wurde. Auch eine Wanderung wurde angeboten. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!! Bei der Hinfahrt ist es besser nach dem Weg zu fragen. Google maps führt woanders hin. "

"Beautiful property with wonderful staff and best food we had on the island. Loved the excursions and hikes on offer. Special mention to the organic farm they have, we enjoyed a tour and all our meals sourced ingredients from right on site. Location was close enough to Kandy for sightseeing but much nicer to be away from the city and surrounding by nature and the mountain view. Especially from the spa pool!! Highly recommend"

"The place was absolutely beautiful. Our room had stunning views and the facilities overall were excellent, new and very well maintained. The food was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also did a trekking tour organized by them, which turned out to be a wonderful experience. "It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax."
