"We had a lovely stay at the lodge, in one of the dog friendly rooms. The room was clean, and equipped with the essentials. The staff were friendly. The rooms are quite dated and could use some upgrades to the furnishings and pillows. We would stay again! Thank you."

"Easy to find. Excellent parking options. Clean. We were given a ground floor unit at the back of one of their three buildings. As a result it felt more like a nice motel than a good hotel. Perhaps we’re given the back door treatment because we booked through a third party site? In any event, the room was fine for our needs as we just spending one. Night there before moving on to other locations. Unfortunately we only stayed the night and choose to find a more economical breakfast option...

"What a nice surprise. My coworker and I had decided at the very last minute to stay in Cape Breton. There was very limited availability anywhere and, withour much research. we decided to stay here. This gem was a highlight of our whole trip. We really enjoyed the dinner experience. 7 courses of pure love! Lex and Hogle were most pleasant to talk to and are assets to this hotel.
