The location is amazing and a great view of Lake Temiskaming. I got to swim at the beach in early June and the water was perfect, since it is seperate from Lake Temiskaming, otherwise would have been too cold. It was a highlight to be able to swim at the beach right by the hotel. The staff is really friendly and they make an enjoyable free breakfast for the guests.

I won't hide the fact that it's a motel, and that the rooms aren't exactly up-to-date, but the owner is so nice, the egg mcmuffin is delicious, and the view is worth the detour!!!

Some simple maintenance should be done. Barbecue cleaned, old rusty chair on barbecue deck thrown out, cigarette ashtrays cleaned daily Duvets should be replaced as they show their age Overall a comfortable place with a great view and very quiet. Nice patio to enjoy coffee in the morning along with the included breakfast sandwich (not the best) AC worked fine Still, we would visit again

The bed was clean and comfortable. I was there three nights and in the second morning there was no hot water for the shower. I guess there were too many others at the motel that consumed all the hot water and their water heaters couldn't keep up. Not being able to shower before a business day was not expected.
