    Property was immaculate, parking ample.B ed and towelling very clean and tea/coffee provided in room-only downsides was small tv and not much coverage of channels, maybe needs aerial,otherwise very pleasant and Marianne a great friendly host 😀

    Owners were pleasant. We were surprised to be meet with we hadn't booked in our dog and needed to pay an extra £45 in cash for our dog. Then requested to pay an extra £8.50 cash each if we wanted breakfast. As far as we were aware we had paid for B&B and booked our dog in. Breakfast was an ok basket delivered to our room. Good parking on site, although better lighting on the drive would have helped when going out with our dog at night.

    A lovely little stay over. A small bedroom with en-suite bathroom which suited our needs perfectly. Marion was super friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend for short stays and would stay there again

    Roof window had plants growing in Faded plastic plants Bathroom not good as in the eves so no good for a man to use the toilet Cobwebs on wall and windows Quilt was to thick for a heatwave And the property and room smelt of dogs

    A compact room which could have been more helpful for personal items if large faux floral displays were taken out. Plug did not fit sink so could not fill it and bath is a jacuzzi jet bath not a hot tub/ spa as advertised. Bed comfy, clean sheets/ towels. Jacuzzi bath was nice, good WiFI and tv reception.

    The host Marion was delightful to deal with. Prior to arrival I phoned to query why I had been sent a bill for an additional charge over and above what I had already paid. Marion explained it was because Expedia keep making errors with the rate and I needed to pay more, however after a bit more discussion Marion was quick to say she would honour the price I had paid on Expedia . When I saw the room I can see why it should have cost more . It was spotless and comfortable which made me more than happy to follow the instructions about taking shoes off before walking on the new carpet and being carful about getting water on the bathroom floor. This hotel is a dog lovers paradise. Marion clearly loves dogs , and kindly made sure her dogs didn’t attack ours

    We would highly recommend this as it is quiet and out of the way but not too far (10-15mins walk) from town itself, Marion was very welcoming and accommodating, especially as we brought our dog with us which was gifted a treat on arrival. The accommodation itself was lovely and up to a high standard, will definitely return and would highly recommend to others.

    Despite paying in advance for our room, on arrival we were advised that the booking had been cancelled. Very vague explanation from the owner. We had not been notified about cancellation and had actually been emailed by the property 2 days before to query if we were still coming (yes) and to complete an online check in form. Hotels.com had no knowledge of the cancellation either. Not impressed with behaviour of manager at the property.

    A welcome surprise

    On arrival first impression was a bit doubtful but don’t be out off - the staff are lively and the room comfortable and spotless would def stay again.
