"Great spot, great host that second visit there has always been delightful to stay at so happy to make this a permanent spot for when I need to travel north and spend the night. Neighbouring restaurant was a bit of a let down sadly."

"The hotelier at reception placed us in a really stunning 2 bedroom apartment. It was up on the top floor, completely exposed to the sparkling waters of the beach directly across the road. Kitchen was very modern and well appointed with all the things to make for a relaxing stay. Lounge, bedrooms and...

"A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays.
Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay."

"Needed a relaxing home base for exploring the Northland area and Abri Apartments was a great choice. Our hosts were very welcoming and the accommodation was extremely clean and updated. Nice kitchen. Spectacular views from the living room and bedroom. Comfortable lazyboy type sofas. Commercial quality laundry and dryer which dried quickly. Great value. Would return. Highly recommend"
