"The food options in the whole resort, Terme cates, was awful. We ended up paying and renting a car, which was not the plan, so we could have some decent food options. We were staying at a hotel there. Otherwise, everything was good and as we hoped for."

It is a peaceful place, surrounded by nature and a few orange cats, worth an extra miles on the road when you get to sit on the chairs of the garden to relax with the sound of birds! "Such a lovely property--the balcony is so relaxing. Rooms are wonderfully appointed and enjoyed our conversations with the owner. He was so helpful and interesting to chat with. This is truly a place to relax and enjoy in the small town of Kostanjevica na Krki. We had a wonderful stay! A gem in southeastern Slovenia--both Vila Castanea and the town."
