The cove in the property was one of the best places we've ever swam in. Our room had a great view of the sunset from right outside our window. "Our family of 6 stayed in this very lovely, clean villa in Kalathas, Crete, which is a wonderful location. The beach near the Villa is beautiful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas (you have to pay for them)! We did drive to the beach which is about 1 mile away. The Villa is only a 15-20 minute drive to Chania. The pool was beautiful and clean. There are 12 apartments, and it was quiet and serene. We really enjoyed our stay which slept 6 people comfortably. Number two getting clean towels did not happen every other day. I have to ask after three days for clean towels number three. "This was the best place we’ve ever stayed! It’s in a beautiful 16th century building and our room had a wonderful view of the harbor and lighthouse. It’s right in the middle of everything. Only thing I was worried about was parking but the front desk lady actually held a spot for us right in front! We were not expecting that. It also has a wonderful rooftop terrace with free hot breakfast in the morning and an incredible view. Highly recommend!"
