The building itself is lovely the location is nice, the bar was nice good selection of drinks and food in the evening was good.staff were lovely we stayed for one night just as a treat for my partners birthday however for what i actually paid for the room it was a slight disappointment the bathroom looked very dated there was a rubber bath matt on the shower floor wrapped in a ribbon that when unrolled had black mold spots all over it fair to say we did not use it we were in a small low ground level room which had frosted windows so not much natural light coming through and no veiw of the lovely garden no mini fridge for water only one small bottle each was provided however the bed was comfortable and the shower gels ect were branded i wish we were offered a better room for the price as on the day of arrival when browsing Expedia other rooms were on offer at a lower price so clearly more rooms were avaliable we could not stay for the breakfast as had plans early on so cant comment on the "free" breakfast
