Top Texas Gulf Coast Hotel Reviews
Margaritaville Beach Resort South Padre Island
8/10 Good
"Overall our stay was good. The Jr King suite was good sized and the layout was good. The hotel is showing signs of age and definitely needs some TLC(carpet in hallways is stained, peeling paint in several areas, etc). Biggest complaint was the balcony in our room. We paid extra for an ocean view but the chairs on the balcony are too low so you can’t see over the railing and you have look through the plastic safety fencing. Also you only hear the AC units below and not the ocean. The room has two club chairs but a small sofa would be better."
Hyatt Regency Houston West
10/10 Excellent
"What a great experience! The hotel was extremely nice and very clean and the staff was very friendly. The price was very reasonable for such a nice hotel. Anytime I’m in the area this is where I will be staying"
